Each service features a custom menu designed, prepared, and served by our senior Culinary Arts students as part of their capstone experience.

The DC Taste Experience

DC Taste offers guests the opportunity to enjoy thoughtfully prepared meals while supporting the next generation of culinary professionals. Each service takes place within a live instructional environment where senior Culinary Arts students design the menu, prepare dishes to order, and provide front-of-house hospitality.

Because all aspects of service are student-led, guests are encouraged to relax, enjoy the experience, and allow additional time for meals to be prepared with care. By dining at DC Taste, patrons play an active role in supporting hands-on culinary education built around real-world standards.

Reservations and Pre-Orders

Reservations and pre-orders are managed through our online ordering system and are available during select service windows. We strongly recommend reserving at least one week in advance, as seating is limited and dates fill quickly.

After submitting a reservation request, a host will follow up to confirm the details. Online pre-ordering is available for both dine-in and takeout during active restaurant dates.

DC Taste operates on select dates during the school year, typically from late fall through late spring, with service hours from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Availability may be affected by school closures, inclement weather, student testing, or other academic activities.
